The Rules of Propaganda

The first rule of propaganda is convincing the public that what you're selling is necessary. (Call the wisest person you know on your cell phone and ask them if it's true.)
The second rule of propaganda is that what you're selling should be the means by which you spread your propaganda. (Check to see if it's true on the internet.)
The third rule of propaganda is to use fear to sell your product, and then consumers will sell it for you. (The news site said poor people, cultural and religious minorities and immigrants were to blame for all my problems! I have to tell my friends! Right?)
The fourth rule of propaganda is to cast the blame for all the troubles you have created onto the only hope for salvation. (Poor people, cultural and religious minorities, and immigrants control the government! That's why I have to buy guns at the local mega store! Right?)
The fifth rule of propaganda is it is not propaganda; it is advertising. (That's what they call it on TV.)
The sixth rule of propaganda is it is not advertising; it is news. (But go ahead and watch that video you clicked on.)
